About Tom Tiller.

I have been working as a freelancing group facilitator and business coach based on the systemic and integral approaches for the last 20 years.

Why EI-Retreats?

For years I have been looking for contemplation retreats to support my personal meditation practice. I was hoping to find a retreat that lets me take my own path to truth independent from any kind of religion, philosophical framework or any other dogma. I was looking for a retreat to at least temporarily have a situation of mutual support on my way.

A couple of years ago I "ended up" in an Enlightenment Intensive given by Nanna Michael and had the strong feeling I had found what I was looking for: an approach that doesn't dictate a narrow predefined image of God or enlightenment but simply offers a contemplation technique that sends you on your own and individual path. A technique that starts the search for an underlying truth at a point available to everyone: you as you are right here and right now. This technique was developed by Charles Berner in the fifties of the last century.

From there on?

After a Monitor Training with Lawrence Noyes and a Monitor and Master Training with Nanna Michael I had a chance to monitor EI retreats for different masters. Now I am starting to offer Enlightenment Intensives myself to make this technique available to everyone who is searching for truth and willing to do so by taking the adventurous route through oneself.

My Approach?

I am convinced that no idea or image of god, enlightenment or absolute truth can replace one thing: experiencing truth yourself directly. And that means something very different for every one of us.

Every one of us experiences the absolute truth differently and even for the same person two direct experiences can be completely different. I can't tell you what God or Enlightenment or "the truth" looks or feels like for you. That is something you have to find out yourself.

But I will accompany you on your way with the support of the structure and the technique as a guidance. Even through crises that may appear along the way.

All you have to do is fully intending to experience your truth directly and taking the structure and the technique serious. No promises of salvation, no membership in anything, no teacher you have to blindly submit to, no worldview you have to adopt and believe without being allowed to question it!
